'Jurassic World' Sequel Begins Filming! First Photo Up

'Jurassic Park' is one of if not my favorite film of all time and with four sequels and millions in merchandise and ticket sales, I'd say I am not alone in that thought process. As of a few days ago, the next installment in the series has now begun filming in the UK (and likely Hawaii again, but we'll see) and director J.A. Bayona has tweeted the first official photo for the still untitled sequel. I love how it takes me back to when I was a kid and fascinated by dinosaurs and seeing how truly huge they were compared to me. It's simple but majestic in its execution and a really good start for what I hope is another great thrill ride.

While 'Jurassic World' had some issues which I addressed in my review, it was still a fun summer blockbuster and it became the fourth highest grossing film of all time when released in 2015. I will never deny myself a 'Jurassic' film and am now even more excited than ever. 'Jurassic World 2' will release June 22nd, 2018 and will see the return of Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard with newcomers James Cromwell, Ted Levine, Rafe Spall, and Geraldine Chaplin.

Stay tuned here for all things 'Jurassic' in the months to come!
